Hotel Framnes is a waterfront hotel originally built as a fishermen´s hostel in 1954. It is situated in Grundarfjörður, a small fishing village which is the central point of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Just a short distance from all the main attractions on the Peninsula, the Hotel is an ideal base for visitors to Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
The Hotel is perfectly located for Northern Lights sightings and takes the prime seat for whale watching in Grundarfjordur.

Our dining room seats 60 guests and is a bright, cheerful area on the ground floor.
The Hotel offers gourmet seafood as its speciality, as well as sumptuous Icelandic lamb and chicken.
